Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport and transfer to Phuentsholing – The Gateway of Bhutan by Road from India. It is a thriving commercial center on the northern edge of the Indian Plains.

The sightseeing attraction for the day is Zangtopelri, which is a famous Buddhist site in Phuentsholing. This Lhakhang has been made to reflect the virtues of Guru Rinpoche. Another places to visit in Phuentsholing, Bhutan is the Peeple Drangra or Phuntsholing viewpoint which lies at an almost same altitude of the Rinchending Goemba. Best visited during the daytime, on clear days, you will get a clear view of the thriving Phuentsholing town as well as the Bengal plains. The hill gradients and the Torsa River flowing beside it creates the perfect setup for photography.
Sangye Migyur Ling Lhakhang – A tower for Milarepa in the Land of the Thunder Dragon. Have you been to an iconic structure aka Milarepa Lhakhang in Phuentsholing Most people know the story of the famous Tibetan saint who learned black magic in his early life to take revenge on enemies but later became a disciple of the great translator Marpa, who had brought many sacred texts back from India. Knowing that his new student had accumulated bad karma, Marpa treated him harshly and made him build a nine-storey tower (Sekhar Guthok) with his bare hands. When it was nearly finished, he told him to move it to another location. This happened a few times until Milarepa had removed his bad karma.Later, he went off to meditate in mountain caves and became enlightened in one lifetime. Milarepa is a shining example of the virtues of renunciation, diligent practice and devotion to his guru.
